Why Promoter Holding Matters
Promoters are usually the founders or main owners of a company. When they increase their stake, it shows confidence — they believe their business will grow.
On the other hand, if promoters reduce their stake, people may worry. But not all stake reductions are bad. Sometimes, it’s due to legal restructuring, raising funds, or even a merger.
So, it’s important to look at why the stake changed, not just how much.
